Girls' Day Out - Cedele-Dome-Chinatown

rarely do we find the chance and the time to have a get together on a weekday...and today we did it...and it's on a Monday!!

jc took a day off...ct and jl was on the beginning of their block leave..while I was waiting for the start of my new job on wed...

we met for brunch at 11am...(so nice even to mention this again..we're meeting for brunch on a monday!! can you believe it?!:?) at cedele, wheelock.. ...then proceeded to dempsey (since jc did not had the chance to breath the fresh air there the last round because of the rain) dome for coffee...we chatted from 130pm in the afternoon to around 5pm...talked alot about my trip - osaka-toba-kobe-kyoto-osaka....then headed to chinatown for hawker food dinner...

you see..i'm sick of japanese food..and also because we're all on a budget (me coming back from my trip....jc, ct & jl going on theirs)...we decided on hawker food...in the end...we only spent around $7 each on our dinner..which was quite a spread...claypot rice..cuttlefish with kangkong...satay.....oyster omlette..and sugarcane juice.....heee..so cheap!! (thanks to ct underwriting the cuttlefish!!)

what a great way to spend a day.......looking forward for more and hoping everyday would be a wonderful one for each of us..!!!!

i love mikimoto

becos we have seen so much..ate so much..and done so much in our japan trip (osaka-kobe-kyoto-osaka), we decided to start another blog site called "i love mikimoto" just solely for our travel in japan ..as we know that..despite the frustration of being handicap in the language and the pricey stake in food..we will return someday...

so look out for the upcoming posts...

Shigeo Fukuda - Shadow Sculptures

The image of the piano in the mirror appears when the viewer stands at a certain vantage point. It is a reflection of the sculpture of piano parts on the right.
